Week 3: Structurally Complete
Our goal for the structural build was to have a build that functioned more or less the way we wanted, with plenty of room to add or subtract. Justin was able to create a build with a few rooms to showcase our variety of mechanics, including: picking up objects, ‘point and click’, and pushing blocks to solve puzzles.
We had a new member join our group! Jon joined Nick on sound design and the two of them were able to create more background music as well as some sound effects for picking up items, interacting with items, and solving puzzles.
Darnesh finalized a lot of our sprite assets, as well as continuing to compile background images for our levels.
Claire got a rough draft of the script done, to be finalized ASAP. Hopefully we will be on to recording this weekend, and then putting our assets into the game next week!
